 Praises

• Since the meetings I've had in July, August and September, three pastors have taken the maps of El Alto to talk with their churches about reaching out in the areas where there are no churches. Lucio Huanca, pastor of Villa Esperanza Baptist church, has even started going with members from his church into some of the neighborhoods in his district that do not have churches to share Christ and disciple. Pastor Alberto Coarite of the Alto Lima Baptist church has reached out into the neighborhood around the church with church members and has 8 discipleship groups going. Give praise to God for these pastors who have taken the challenge to reach out to neighborhoods without churches and please pray for them as well as Pastor Hugo Quispe of the Josue Baptist Church.
• Praise God for the churches, pastors, and other leaders with whom I was able to visit in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma during the month of October. Praise God for the churches and individuals who are praying and planning for how God wants them to get involved in reaching the Aymara of El Alto.
• Praise God for some nationals who have expressed interest in becoming involved in the task of reaching El Alto for Christ.

 Current Prayer Requests

• Pray for the pastors and churches in El Alto to have a heart and passion to share the Gospel and make disciples in every neighborhood in El Alto.
• Pray for the churches and individuals with whom I spoke while in the States in October. Pray specifically for Ellington First Baptist Church, Reynolds County Baptist Association, Second Baptist Church in Cabool, South Gate Baptist Church in Springfield, Faith Baptist Church in Festus, Spring Hill Baptist Church in Springfield, Highland Park Baptist Church in Bartlesville, Okla; Wynne Baptist Church in Wynne, Ark. as they consider coming on a vision trip to El Alto. Pray for the other churches and groups with whom I visited that are seeking God's will as to how they are to be involved--Second Baptist in Springfield, South Haven in Springfield, Patterson First Baptist, Piedmont First Baptist, Strafford First Baptist, Osceola First, Park Hills, Risco First Baptist, students from the BSUs in Cape Girardeau and in Springfield, and several other churches and individuals.
• Pray for the nationals who have expressed interest in being able to help reach El Alto but indicate that they financially are not able to help at this time.
• Continue praying for the radio program that Pastor Jaime Choque and I leading called "Acts 29". It is to train church planters. We are praying for several to respond to this training here in the cities of El Alto and La Paz as well as in the rural areas.
• Please continue praying for the upcoming elections in Bolivia that have been changed from Dec. 4 to Dec. 18. They will be decisive elections for the future of the country as will be electing the President, Vice-President, Congressmen, and Prefectos (Governors) for each State.
• Continue to pray that God will call and lead at least 10 churches/associations to become involved in church planting in El Alto. Pray the churches/associations will respond to God's call soon and become a vital part of the the Aymara Church planting team.
• Pray for God to begin to form the group of English translators who will be working with the U.S. churches that respond to the call to adopt a district/sub-district, etc. here in El Alto.
• Pray God can use this time to show the people that there greatest need is a relationship with Him and that only in Him can one find true peace, liberty and contentment.

 Ongoing Prayer Requests

• Pray each day for one of the more than 400 neighborhoods in El Alto without a single church, as well as the 344 existing churches.
• Please pray for God to touch the lives of the following political and religious leaders in Bolivia, La Paz and El Alto so that they will come to know Christ personally and His will for their lives and how He wants them to guide the people of Bolivia:

• Continue to pray for God to break the barriers of indifference, disobedience and tradition that prevent Christians here in El Alto, Bolivia and all the world from becoming fully involved in the Great Commission which God gave to all believers in Matthew 28:18-20.
